A NATURAL blend of organic Fijian kava and goat milk soap has been produced for the first time in Fiji by MeSovu (Fiji) Pte Ltd and is now available in the local market.

The Nadi based manufacturing company created the unique 50g goat milk kava soap using brown sugar, fig and kava plants.

Founder and business entrepreneur Beatrice Nast said the soap could be used as a souvenir gift to someone.

“We are very proud of our 2025 soap of the year, and we created it for the people of Fiji and our visitors,” she said.

“I don’t know if it’s anywhere in the world but we now have it.

“We want to honour the people of Fiji, the farmers and all the hard work that they do every day.

“And for me personally, this soap should be included in every talanoa sessions we have here in Fiji, for people to wash their hands.”

She said Tourism Fiji has been taking some of her goat milk soap products overseas.

“I thought of doing a kava soap because it is our national plant and the welcome drink for visitors.

“Tourism Fiji can take it with them during their trade expos overseas, and they have been taking some of my goat milk soap products.”

The new soap is available at Jack’s of Fiji and also the Me Sovu factory at Nadi Back Road.
