VUATE Karawalevu has been handed the number 13 jersey as Swire Shipping Fijian Drua head coach Glen Jackson makes key changes for their must-win clash against the Queensland Reds this Saturday.
Karawalevu, who has made an impact off the bench this season, starts at outside centre in round 12 of the Shop N Save Super Rugby Pacific.
Kemu Valetini has been named at flyhalf with Isaiah Armstrong-Ravula moving to fullback.
Jackson has also named a six-two forward-back split on the bench with co-captain Tevita Ikanivere set to come on later in the match.
Experienced tighthead prop Mesake Doge will lead the team onto the field.
In the front row, Peni Ravai , Zuriel Togiatama and Doge will start.
Mesake Vocevoce and Isoa Nasilasila form the second row. Etonia Waqa, Isoa Tuwai, and Kitione Salawa complete the loose forwards.
In the backs, Simione Kuruvoli starts at halfback with Valetini at flyhalf.
Taniela Rakuro and Selestino Ravutaumada take the wings. Inia Tabuavou and Karawalevu are in the centres, while Armstrong-Ravula controls the back.
Bench cover includes Ikanivere, Haereiti Hetet, Samu Tawake, Leone Rotuisolia, Joseva Tamani, Elia Canakaivata and former Suva Grammar pair Philip Baselala and Isikeli Rabitu.
The Drua have an unbeaten home record against the Reds and will be looking to extend that streak.
They will take on the Reds at 2.05pm at the HFC Bank Stadium in Suva.
The match will be followed by the Vodafone Fijiana against the Wallaroos.
