Joseph Parker appears open to fighting an IBF heavyweight eliminator against Croatian Filip Hrgovic but is in no rush as he considers his options.
Hrgovic was set to fight Michael Hunter to decide the organisation’s mandatory challenger to champion Anthony Joshua but the American mysteriously missed the deadline.
Parker, at No 5 on the IBF rankings, appears to be the next available contender.
But sitting at No 3 with the WBO and No 6 with the WBC, the well-positioned Parker has plenty to consider as he comes off a controversial split points victory over Britain’s Dereck Chisora that stretched his winning streak to five.
