A sound system that was stolen from a temple in Rakiraki last week has been recovered by Police.
Police said two men are in police custody for their alleged involvement in this case of sacrilege at the Dugapatu Mariamman temple.
“A raid conducted by officers based at the Rakiraki Criminal Investigations Department at Rewasa, led to the arrest of the two suspects, as well as the discovery of sound equipment allegedly stolen from the temple,” said Police in a statement.
The two remain in custody as investigations continue.
