Iowane Teba was Osea Kolinisau’s pick for player of the tournament and the Savusavu lad has cemented his place in the Fiji Airways Fiji men’s 7s squad to Perth.

Kolinisau who will name his final team soon made this revelation today.

Teba was consistent throughout the three-day tournament and played a key role in the teams impressive outing at the 2025 McDonald’s Fiji’s Coral Coast Sevens.

While his Mike Friday’s Select Sevens team lost 14-29 to the Fiji 7s, Teba was still exceptional in the final.

He was also awarded the Jonah Lomu medal as the top try scorer with six tries.

Teba and Frenchman Alexandre Odinga scored for Friday’s Select.

Player of the match Pilipo Bukayaro, Vuiviawa Naduvalo, Filippo Sauturaga, Joseva Talacolo and Terio Veilawa scored for the Fiji 7s team.

Jeremaia Matana and Sevuloni Mocenacagi sustained injuries and are in doubt for Perth next weekend.
