An Australian citizen allegedly drowned at the Fiji Marriott Resort Momi Bay on Wednesday afternoon.
Cluster marketing manager for Fiji Ravesi Konrote said the unfortunate incident was under investigation.
“The safety and security of our guests remain our highest priorities,” she said.
The Fiji Police Force said the deceased was a 32-year-old Australian national who allegedly drowned while snorkeling in the lagoon.
