Teaching can make such a profound impact on young people’s lives.

Those who choose a teaching career are heroes that educate, inspire and encourage others.

This week, the Ministry of Education organised interviews for eligible Year 13 students who wish to pursue teacher training.

The interviews started across all divisions this week.

The initiative, according to the Ministry was conducted in collaboration with the Teacher Training Institutions (TTIs), the Fiji Teacher’s Registration Authority (FTRA), the Higher Education Commission Fiji and the Tertiary Scholarships and Loans Services.

The interviews aim to select passionate and qualified individuals to shape the future of education in Fiji.

Students were reminded to attend their scheduled interviews on time and take advantage of the opportunity to embark on a fulfilling teaching career.

The interview process began on Monday in the Northern Division at Labasa College.

There was a great turnout as students eagerly wait for their interviews.

The Ministry encourages students in other divisions to follow suit and prepare diligently for their interviews.
