FIJI, Na Drua and hard-hitting US reggae band Bonafide will headline Kulture Beer & Music Festival, the country’s biggest music event since UB40 hit our shores more than a decade ago.
The second year running, this year’s event at the Lautoka Botanical Gardens has renowned singer, songwriter and producer — George Fiji Veikoso — counting down the days in anticipation.
“I am so excited to come home,” he said.
“I will be joined by my nephews, Na Drua and also by my brothers from Jamaica, Bonafide.
We look forward to seeing you all in Lautoka on July 27, it’s going to be a wonderful Kulture Fest 2019.”
Event organiser Arthur Philitoga said interest in the show was already on a high.
“Even though it’s just under a month away, the hype has gone out that Kulture Fest 2019 is the place to be and I urge you to mark this date on your calendar and be there, you don’t want to miss this,” he said.
Na Drua is riding the success of their hit single, Precious Love, which was released last year.
Bonafide, originally from Jamaica, are presently based in Las Vegas, Nevada.
The band was given a certificate of special congressional commendation from United States Congresswoman Dina Titus this year.
