COMPLETE Insurance Services has once again demonstrated its commitment to the development of cue sports in the country by stepping forward as the sponsor of the Billiards and Snooker Association of Fiji’s first National Snooker Rankings tournament for 2026.
The tournament will be held in Lautoka this weekend.
The tournament follows Fiji’s representation at the recent Asia-Pacific Snooker Championship in Australia, where the nation’s number one player, Sahil Prasad, delivered a strong performance against top regional opponents. He enters this weekend’s competition as the firm favorite.
In a notable development, Fiji’s number two ranked player, Jiten Prasad of Nausori Club, has opted out of the tournament due to family commitments. His absence has reshaped the rankings lineup, with Deepak Ram of Nausori Club moving into the second position, Francis Ram of Nausori Club taking up the third spot, and Raymond Reddy of South Seas Club seeded fourth.
The event will also see junior division, providing a platform for emerging talents to showcase their skills and gain valuable competitive experience.
With top players in action and continued corporate backing, the tournament is expected to deliver quality snooker and further strengthen the sport’s presence in Fiji.
