INVESTMENT Fiji launched the inaugural 2025-26 edition of the Fiji Trade & Investment Review Magazine at the Ministry of Trade in Suva yesterday.

The publication is a result of the collaboration between the Fiji and Australia Business Council, Islands Business and Investment Fiji with the support of the Ministry of Trade to showcase Fiji’s investment and business climate to the world.

Officiating at the launch, Minister for Trade Manoa Kamikamica described it as a landmark publication Fiji’s economic ambitions and confidence.

“This publication showcases what Fiji’s all about to the world,” Mr Kamikamica said.

Investment Fiji chief executive officer Kamal Chetty said the magazine offers a wide range of information and stories to promote Fijian businesses to the world.

“We saw as a trade and investment promoter agency a gap in the market especially around information.

“This magazine comes in and promotes that information to investors in order for them to see the amazing stories Fiji has to offer, so that’s the reason we collaborated.

“I think last year we met and said let’s put this together and finally after a lot of work from all parties we were able to put this together,” Mr Chetty said.

He said the magazine was 100 per cent Fijian made, and the purpose of the magazine is to openly give insights into Fiji’s investment climate, encouraging investors to make informed and confident decisions.

Australia-Fiji Business Council president Zane Yoshida said their contribution towards the publication was a proud moment to reflect on the growing strength of Fiji’s economy and more importantly the enduring trade and investment partnership between Fiji and Australia.

“Today’s launch underscores the progress we’ve made and the opportunities that lie ahead.

“The 2025 edition of the review is more than a publication; it is a signal to the world that Fiji is open for business.

“Ground in stability, driven by enterprise and rich in resources,” Mr Yoshida said.

The soft copy of the publication is available online and hard copies are expected to be issued to stakeholders, embassies, trade commissions and events by Investment Fiji.

The magazine will be an annual publication compiled by Front Page, owner of Islands Business Magazine and is solely funded through advertisements from partners of the publication.
