FIJI Airways Fiji Sevens coach Gareth Baber has labelled returning playmaker Livai Ikanikoda as an asset during the HSBC World Rugby Sevens Series Hong Kong 7s tournament and will be out to showcase more at the Singapore 7s tournament this weekend.
“What I was looking for from a playmaker is an individual who has emotional control and quality on the field and not losing his head or control in those situations even when he is under pressure, and most notably when he is really under pressure,” Baber said of Ikanikoda.
The policeman from Lomanikoro Village in Rewa featured in all six games in Hong Kong and will be expected to showcase his skills again this weekend.
