Peoples Alliance Party member, Lynda Tabuya has stated she is instituting legal action against two Fijian nationals based overseas.

She made the comments after PAP decided that she can remain a member of the party.

“I welcome the decision affirming my place in The People’s Alliance Party. This matter should never have been raised, and I am grateful that reason and fairness have prevailed,” she said.

“My focus remains steadfast on serving the people of Fiji.”

“As a backbencher, I will continue working hard to advance the issues that truly matter to Fijians. I refuse to be distracted.”

Ms Tabuya added she has pursued legal action against a person in Australia and another in England.

“This could include possible extradition to Fiji to face charges here. I will be travelling to both countries to personally register complaints.”

“I want to express my heartfelt gratitude for the overwhelming support I have received. It has strengthened my resolve and reminded me why I entered public service in the first place.”
