Hundreds of people came together at the FMF Gymnasium in Suva to joyfully celebrate the birthday of Prophet Muhammad.
The event attracted members of Parliament, followers of Islam and members of the public.
Malaysian High Commissioner to Fiji, Nor’ Azam Bin Mohd Idrus was the chief guest for the occasion.
The atmosphere was filled with reverence and community spirit as attendees marked this important religious milestone.
Meanwhile, in Nasinu, the Milad-un-Nabi Jalsa 2025 commenced with a lively road march that brought together followers and community members.
The procession was proudly led by the Sunni Islamic Association and the Qadri Jameh Masjid, underscoring the active role these organisations play in fostering religious harmony and cultural celebration.
This opening activity set an energetic tone for the rest of the Jalsa’s events.
