Residental land lots developed by the Housing Authority of Fiji (HA) in Covata in Labasa are still on the market, with a price range of $70,000 to $130,000 for a lot area ranging from 250 to 600 square metres.
This was revealed by HA in its call for expressions of interest (EOI) for the remaining 50 per cent of its residential lots in Covata.
It’s an opportunity, it said, to secure one’s dream home in one of the country’s most vibrant and growing communities in the Northern Division.
“These lots are conveniently located just 10 minutes from the Labasa district center and near essential amenities such as schools and shops,” HA’s CEO Ritesh Singh said.
“We invite those planning to retire in Labasa who are still searching for a home as well as young dynamic individuals just starting their careers.
“This is a great investment opportunity to secure your lot and build your home for the future.”
The site is fully serviced with streetlights, footpaths, green spaces, water and sewer connections, and underground power supply.
To apply for a residential lot, one must be a first-time homeowner, have Fiji citizenship, have an annual household income of $50,000 or below, can purchase the land and build a house, and must be 18 years or older.
Expressions of interest can be submitted online through the Authority’s Customer Portal at https://portal.Housing.com.fj/, with all necessary documentation.
The EOI offer closes on Monday.
