TAMBUA Sands Beach Resort, part of the Warwick Hotels and Resorts family along the Coral Coast, supported its local community by donating essential linen to the Vatukarasa Health Centre.

The donation was officially handed over by Resort manager Angela Bob, who also surprised the nurses and staff with a box of muffins as a small token of appreciation for their hard work and dedication.

Head doctor at Vatukarasa Health Centre Joel Saloma accepted the donation and shared how the gesture lifted their spirits and helped ease the strain on their limited resources.

“This support means a lot to us,” Dr Saloma said.

“We operate with tight budgets, so these contributions make a real difference in providing comfort and better care for our patients.

“We’re deeply thankful to Tambua Sands and Warwick Hotels for remembering our little health facility.”

Ms Bob emphasised the resort’s ongoing commitment to its neighbors.

“Taking care of the community is part of who we are at Warwick Hotels & Resorts,” Ms Bob said.

“We believe every small act counts and helps us build stronger bonds with the people who support us and our guests each day.”

The donated linen will improve patient comfort and help with day-to-day operations at the health centre, which serves local families alongside resort visitors and staff.

Tambua Sands Beach Resort continues to dedicate itself to community support as part of Warwick Hotels & Resorts’ broader mission to empower and uplift communities across Fiji.
