Navua Hospital has been partially closed to allow Energy Fiji Ltd and the Public Works Department to carry out rewiring and other crucial maintenance works at the healthcare facility.
Tents have been set up by the Fiji Emergency Medical Assistance Team at the hospital car park for people seeking medical treatment.
“Navua Hospital will be partially closed from Thursday, May 1, 2025, until Thursday, July 31, 2025,” said the Ministry of Health and Medical Services in a statement.
It said members of the public needing admission would be referred to the Colonial War Memorial Hospital in Suva.
