Police have identified the victim of an alleged hit and run in Koronubu over the weekend.
In a release, police said the victim lived in Suva but was in Koronubu with relatives.
“Officers have also seized a vehicle believed to have been involved with the owner of the car to be taken in for questioning soon,” police said.
“Forensic tests will be carried out on the vehicle as investigations continue.
“The victim’s post mortem examination will be conducted tomorrow (Thursday 5th June 2025).”
