Winston ‘Real Deal’ Hill will approach today’s South Pacific Boxing Promotions bout against Australia’s Jyl Wright with utmost focus and a determined mindset.
Hill understands that a clear win against Wright will hand him the Asia-Pacific IBO title and a shot at making the top 100 in Boxrec rankings which is recognized worldwide.
Toady’s main bout will be his second international this year after a seventh-round knockout win against New Zealand’s Dylan Archer in February.
The PBC Oceania Regional Super Welterweight champion is one who walks the talk, Pand he is confident that this will be Wright’s toughest fight to date.
“Fredy (Fredy Chand – promoter) mentioned that this fight if its a decisive win over Jyl, it opens doors for a bigger world or regional title. So, I’m taking this fight very seriously and Jyl must be thoroughly prepared,” Hill said.
“This will be his toughest fight; I will be his toughest opponent and he will be stick between a rock and a very hard place.”
Hill has been preparing for this in the past few months building the confidence that this will be different from his past four fights.
“Preparations are good, we are always evolving as a team, I’m always evolving as a fighter, you’ll never see the same thing from me in the ring.
“This is definitely going to be a different show,” he said.
The promotion starts at 4pm at Prince Charles Park in Nadi.
