The High Court in Suva today delivered its ruling on two prominent cases.
High Court judge Justice Daniel Goundar delivered former prime minister Voreqe Bainimarama and former commissioner of police Sitiveni Qiliho’s ruling “on Jurisdiction of the Magistrate’s Court to transfer proceedings for legal opinion”.
The seconded ruling Justice Goundar delivered this morning was the Bail review of former attorney-general Aiyaz Sayed-Khaiyum.
Appearing for prosecution were the Acting Director of Public Prosecution Nancy Tikoisuva and Assistant Director of Public Prosecution Laisani Tabuakuro
