Update: 1:23PM TWO men were found guilty – one for murder and the other for manslaughter – in relation to the death of Nawaicoba, Nadi, man Vasuwedan Naidu in April, 2014.
Mataiasi Ului, 34, was found guilty of murder and sentenced to life imprisonment by the High Court in Lautoka this morning.
Maikeli Loko, 35, was found guilty of manslaughter and sentenced to three years in prison by Justice Paul Madigan.
Ului will serve a minimum term of 15 years and Loko three years before being considered for parole.
The two were charged along with Rakesh Kumar and Vinod Segran in April 2014, in relation to the death of Mr Naidu.
Mr Kumar and Mr Segran were acquitted of all charges by the High Court in Lautoka.
