A heavy rain warning is in force for the whole of Fiji.
This is due to category two Tropical Cyclone Seru that is located to the far West of Fiji.
This morning it continues to track Southeast ward and will keep tracking away from Fiji.
Associated with TC Seru is an active trough of low pressure that is affecting the group.
This will bring strong winds to parts of the country.
The forecast for Fiji is for occasional rain, heavy at times and few thunderstorms over most places.
Rain is expected to gradually ease before becoming frequent again later tomorrow.
Persistent heavy rain may lead to flash flood in low lying and flood prone areas and even severe riverine flooding in major rivers around Fiji.
