Disappointment for rugby sevens fans this morning as the Fiji Airways national men’s team were bundled out of the top title hunt by France at the Cape Town sevens.

Fiji suffered a disappointing semi final loss to France 19-17 in the semi final.

The side finished in the third place after beating Spain 47-10 in the 3rd place playoff.

South Africa won the Cape Town 7s after defeating France 26-14 in the Cup Final this morning.
