NORTHPOLE FC of Labasa proved that hard work, resilience, and a never give up attitude can lead to success.
The team defied odds and fatigue to claim the title of the Cecil’s National Club Championship against Buiduna FC 6-3 at the Fiji FA grounds in Vatuwaqa.
The Labasa side remained unbeaten throughout the tournament, winning every match on their way to the title. Their flawless campaign showcased not only their skill but also their remarkable determination and teamwork.
“Every match was tough, but they gave it their all and never backed down,” said head coach Mohammed Kasim.
The team had little time to recover after their previous tournament ended on December 1.
With some key players unavailable due to personal commitments, Northpole had to rely on youth players who had just completed their exams.
Despite the challenges, they adapted and delivered a strong performance throughout the competition.
“The boys were tired after the Pacific Cup, but we worked hard to ensure they were ready for this challenge.”
