Twelve-year-old Grace Khelan is a swimmer to look out for in the future as she stunned many, including her coach at the 2024 Long Course Age Group Nationals over the weekend.
She took part in 18 events over the two-day competition scooping 14 gold after day one of competition.
Swimming for Orca Swim club, Khelan is trained under the guidance of Esther Malani who is in awe of the youngster’s dedication and commitment to the sport.
Malani said swimmers like Khelan show that Fiji still has a future in swimming.
The head coach said they have plans to send Khelan to overseas competitions for exposure.
