LONG trips are always worth it when it comes to supporting your school. Apisai Dakunivosa Serau joined supporters at the HFC Bank Stadium in Suva yesterday after traveling all the way from the UK to watch Lelean Memorial School compete in this year’s Fiji Finals.

Despite the hot weather, Serau’s pride in his school and its athletes shines through as he reminisces about the support he received when he was a student in the 1990s.

Accompanied by his son, who also attends Lelean, Serau was excited to witness the talent and dedication of the students during the competition.

He acknowledges the advancements and excitement in the level of competition and expresses his pride in the achievements of Lelean in the past.

“I’m really proud to come and support my school. This is a great opportunity for our boys and girls to show their talent,” said Serau.

“The level of competition has really changed it, more advance and more exciting.”

For Serau, winning the Fiji Finals or securing gold medals is not only a great achievement, but also a testament to the hard work and dedication of the athletes.

He sends his well wishes to all the athletes competing in the event and cherishes the opportunity to support his school in a meaningful way.
