The Tebbutt Times has found that most Fijians support the reinstatement of the Great Council of Chiefs (GCC). The GCC was suspended in 2007 after a strained working relationship with the military regime at the time. That’s the big news on the front page of The Fiji Times for Monday, August 7.

The second story on the front page is about a recent profiling exercise conducted on the streets of Lautoka which found secondary school-aged children pushing drugs and being lured to sell on others’ behalf.
