MOBIMEDIA is giving smartphone users in Fiji a chance to make new friends using a new app called Matchstix to be launched next month.
A press statement from The Greenhouse Studio says Matchstix is the smartphone app made especially for Fiji, which will enable users to connect more often and easily.
The app is the coolest, newest and most convenient way to meet new people that one will not normally have a chance to meet, the statement says.
The Greenhouse Studio marketing and events manager Karen Fong says Mobimedia is excited to announce the impending launch of the Matchstix app in November.
A brief description of the app says it works by helping a user to locate new people to meet and befriend by aligning similar interests and locations.
Once signed on, Matchstix uses smart location-based software with GPS positioning and after setting a few personal preferences users will begin to discover many people nearby them who share as many of the same interests and likes.
Mobimedia is expected to release the app in mid November for iOS and Android devices on Google Play Store and Apple App Store.
