HILTON Fiji Beach Resort & Spa and DoubleTree Resort by Hilton Fiji, Sonaisali Island, have once again been officially certified as a Great Place to Work® for the fourth consecutive year. This, according to resorts’ management, cemented their position “as the only hospitality brands in Fiji to earn this recognition.”
“We are incredibly proud and humbled to be recognised once again as a Great Place to Work,” Hilton’s cluster general manager Fiji Carey Osborne said.
“This achievement speaks volumes about the passion, dedication, and team spirit that fuel our people every day.
“At Hilton, we know that when we take care of our team, they take care of our guests.”
Awarded by the internationally renowned Great Place to Work® institute, the certification underscored both resorts’ continued commitment to building a positive, inclusive and empowering workplace culture for their more than 800 team members.
Based on real, anonymous feedback from team members, the certification evaluates workplace culture, trust in leadership and employee engagement.
“Our people-first approach is deeply rooted in Fijian values and the spirit of Bula,” Ms Osborne said.
“This milestone celebrates not just the past year, but a long-standing culture of listening, learning and leading with purpose.”
Both properties earned consistently high scores in areas such as team camaraderie, pride in their work and fairness.
Ms Osborne said the latest certification highlighted the resorts’ sustained focus on team member experience – driven by Hilton’s global commitment to diversity, inclusion, well-being and growth, and supported by ownership partner, the Vision Group.
“Initiatives include structured training and development programs, career advancement pathways and recognition platforms that celebrate team achievements,” she said.
“Hilton is consistently recognised as a top employer globally and this local accolade reaffirms its leadership in cultivating meaningful careers and exceptional workplace cultures across the Asia Pacific hospitality industry.
