Former political leader dies

Update: 7:00PM FORMER politician and leader of the then-Nationalist Vanua Tako Lavo Party, Iliesa Duvuloco, has died.

Mr Duvuloco died last Friday aged 69.

He was known for forming the Nationalist Vanua Tako Lavo Party in 1999 through a merger of his own Vanua Tako Lavo Party and Sakeasi Butadroka’s Fijian Nationalist Party.

Reguregu for the late politician will be held at the Soqosoqo Vakamarama complex in Nabua on Thursday before his burial at Naivuruvuru Village in Tailevu on Friday.
