A FORMER customer service officer with the Land Transport Authority has been stopped from leaving the country after he appeared in the Lautoka Magistrates Court last week on four different cases of alleged corruption.
Setareki Vakayadra faces two counts of bribery, one count of forgery and using forged document and another count of general dishonesty.
The charges were filed by the Fiji Independent Commission Against Corruption. It is alleged that Mr Vakayadra asked for an advantage of $800 from an individual and is further alleged to have accepted $400 from the same person in March 2017.
He is also alleged to have asked for and accepted $200 from another individual in April 2017.
