Two former police officers, charged for their alleged involvement in the unlawful importation and possession of 4.7 kilograms of liquid methamphetamine, have been further remanded in custody after their bail hearing yesterday.
Sevuloni Lubi, 43, and Ratu Lote Lewaivanua, 31, appeared at the Suva Magistrate’s Court.
Mr Lewaivanua is also alleged to have been found in possession of $650, suspected to be proceeds of crime, on September 12, 2025.
The case has been adjourned to January 27 for bail ruling.
