Former Denmark coach signs three-year deal with Fiji FA

FORMER Denmark international and coach Flemming Serritslev has signed a three-year deal with the Fiji Football Association at the Tanoa Waterfront Hotel in Lautoka this afternoon as the new national head coach.

Serritslev has a UEFA Pro License and is also a coaching instructor.

He has a wealth of experience coaching in Nigeria, Armenia, Iran and Papua New Guinea.

Fiji FA president Rajesh Patel did not disclose the package for Serritslev which is going to be paid by the Fiji National Sports Commission.

“I can assure you that I will do my best to improve the level of Fijian football,” Serritslev said.

“Talent development has always had a big place in my heart.”

The 72-year-old takes over from Christophe Gamel who resigned last year.

He will be witnessing the opening round of the 2020 Vodafone Premier League this weekend.
