Former Minister for Fisheries and Forestry, Kalaveti Ravu and the Ministry’s Regional Northern Manager Tekata Toaisi have been acquitted.
Mr Ravu and Mr Toaisi had their case called before Magistrate Jeremaia Savou at the Suva Magistrate’s Court.
Mr Savou ruled that there was no-case-to-answer around midday.
FICAC had accused Mr Ravu of interfering in the lawful process of a ministerial investigation into the suspected illegal trade of a banned species of beche-de-mer.
FICAC also accused Mr Toaisi of aiding the former minister between July and August last year.
Lawyer Lavi Rokoika represents the former minister while Mr Toaisi is represented by lawyer Joji Cakau.
