Residents of Lautoka City have more reasons to enjoy purchasing cooked food and the recent opening of the Namoli Green Food Market is a major boost.
The facility, located in the centre of the city’s central business district, not only caters to travellers passing through Lautoka City but also serves as a hub for local commerce, offering 64 stalls, seven cart spaces, three washing stations, and seating facilities.
Local Government Minister Maciu Nalumisa said the risk of being exposed to the elements and operating amid busy traffic was now a thing of the past for 25 women food vendors.
