For the past years, the Flying Fijians team remain at 11th position on the World Rugby rankings.
World Rugby reported rankings are calculated using a ‘Points Exchange’ system, in which sides take points off each other based on the match result.
Whatever one side gains, the other loses.
With less Test matches on Vern Cotter’s side, it has an impact on Fiji’s position in the rankings.
Fiji’s biggest match last year was during its two Tests against New Zealand in July.
After the 60th minute in the first Test, Fiji were only eight points behind, with an All Blacks player in the sin bin.
The final score was 57-23.
In the second Test, a dominant performance from New Zealand saw Fiji score a try in a 60-13 defeat. During the Northern tour last year, Wales came from behind to beat a 14-man Fiji 38-23 at the Principality Stadium.
Meanwhile, defending Rugby World Cup champions South Africa remains at the top of the table while Ireland has moved in to third position ahead of England.
