BEACHCOMBER was told of a story of a woman watching the funeral service for Iliesa Tawalo on livestream.
The song Jealous of the Angels was played at the gathering while the coffin was being carried into the hall.
With tears streaming down the woman’s cheeks, her son, who is believed to be outspoken and a nuisance in the family, silently watched from one end of the room.
After a few minutes he walks closer to his mum and asks: “Why is that singer so jealous of the angels? She should be happy Iliesa is in Heaven, the singer should now try to get herself to Heaven.”
Then he turns to his mum: “And why are you crying? Everyone’s in Heaven!”
