THE 2026 Flight Club Annual Showcase will provide a platform for Fiji’s young gymnasts to display their talents while raising funds for their upcoming international competition.

Fiji Gymnastics Board director Maria Alvarado said the annual event is more than just an evening of performances, describing it as a celebration of the dedication, perseverance and achievements of Flight Club’s young athletes.

The showcase will be held on Saturday, August 1, at 5pm at the Palatium Kava Lounge, formerly the Globe Theatre, in Lautoka.

Alvarado said the event would serve as both a competition send-off and a fundraising initiative for the Flight Club Development Squad, which is preparing to compete at the National Clubs Carnival – Aerobic Gymnastics Competition on the Gold Coast in Australia.

She said the evening would allow family members, friends and the wider community to witness the progress of the gymnasts who have spent countless hours training and preparing for the prestigious competition.

“The showcase is a reflection of the hard work, discipline, teamwork and commitment shown by these young athletes as they prepare to proudly represent both Flight Club and Fiji on the international stage,” Alvarado said.

The programme will feature individual and multiple aerobic gymnastics routines from Levels 1 to 6, Youth Individual Male performances and AeroDance Division 1 routines.

Special guest performances will also be part of the event, with organisers keeping the identities of the performers under wraps until the night of the showcase.

Alvarado acknowledged the support of the club’s sponsors, particularly major sponsor Millbrook Hilljes Law Partners, whose contribution has significantly assisted the team’s preparations.
