National Fire Authority is trying to control a fire at the John Wesley College in Raiwaqa.
Year 12 students at the school are still continuing their Year 12 exams amid the fire.
The students from the other classes are being sent home upon the arrival of their parents for pick up.
The cause of fire and the extent of damage isn’t known this hour.
