Fiji’s best surfers compete for title

THE PBS Lighthouse Challenge started this morning out at the Suva reef.

Fiji’s best surfers will be competing for the coveted title of Suva Lighthouse Champion. Divisions include U/14, U/21, Longboard, Open Women, Masters, Open and an All Craft.

The two-day tournament will have competitions in the U14 grade today and the U21 tomorrow.

U14 Fiji representatives Kiesha Wakeham and James Kusitino will take part in the tournament and the senior grade include former champions Aca Ravulo, Inia Nakalevu, Lesi Navuwai and Victor Maginnity.

The competition will demonstrate Fiji’s surfing talent in the bulid-up towards the 2020 Olympics in Tokyo.
