OPPOSITION MPs will return to Parliament, once they submit their grievances to Speaker of Parliament, Ratu Epeli Nailatikau.

This has been confirmed by Opposition leader, Sitiveni Rabuka, during a press conference at the Opposition chambers this morning.

He said it was unfortunate that Parliament had struck out petitions brought into Parliament by the Opposition.

“We are not going back to Parliament, not today, until the Speaker receives our grievances,” he said.

National Federation Party leader Professor Biman Prasad said the manner in which the petitions were received has undermine the democratic values of this country.
