Eight Fijian companies showcased their products internationally at the Naturally Good Expo which ended yesterday at Sydney’s International Convention Centre, Darling Harbour, Australia.

Facilitated by Investment Fiji in collaboration with the Fiji Consulate General & Trade Commission in Australia & New Zealand, these companies took part at their own costs to promote their products and get possible leads and connections that could result in securing major deals.

Also showcased were products from companies that could not make it in person.

“There are over a dozen companies being represented at the Fiji booth this year, allowing them to meet with prospective buyers and importers as well as get the latest insights into the Australian market and consumer trends they can bring back with them to Fiji,” Fiji’s Trade Commissioner to Australia and New Zealand Daniel Stow said.

Down to Earth Fiji, TaveNiu, Golden Ocean, Vinaka Agriculture, Juice Fiji, Lami Kava, Loloma Fiji, and Road Kings Farms represented the Fiji brand at the event.

Investment Fiji chief executive officer Kamal Chetty said events such as the Naturally Good Expo offered an important avenue for Fijian businesses to showcase their high-quality products to a wider audience and stay on top of industry standards.

“This not only fosters export growth but also translates into increased employment opportunities back home in Fiji, ultimately improving the lives of our people.”

Last year Fijian businesses that participated in the event were able to secure deals for agricultural commodities such as kava, yams and spices along with cosmetic products.

The expo ended yesterday and is the Southern Hemisphere’s leading event for health and wellness retail professionals, establishing itself as a premier platform for natural and organic industry players for over seven years.
