Fiji through to quarter final at Perth 7s

The Fiji Airways Fiji 7s side came out strong on day two of the Perth 7s to thump New Zealand 33-5 in their last pool match today.

Iowane Teba and Joji Nasova scored first half tries as Fiji led 14-5 at halftime.

Pilipo Bukayaro, Viwa Naduvalo and Terio Veilawa scored three unanswered tries in the second spell for a comfortable win.

The win also sees Fiji top its pool.

Fiji will feature in the third cup quarter-final at 10.19pm against an opponent yet to be confirmed.
