THE Flying Fijians have made only one change as they prepare to unleash their full arsenal in their last pool match against Wales at the Rugby World Cup in Japan tomorrow.

Head coach John McKee says they are determined to finish on a high as they finalise preparations for their match at Oita Stadium.

“We see this final pool game as both a challenge and an opportunity, it is important to finish the pool stage on a high note,” McKee said.

“We carry some confidence and momentum from the Georgia match and at the same time know we must step up in performance in this match as it will be of a higher intensity.”

McKee knows it will not be an easy task tackling the Welsh dragon which currently leads pool D.

“Wales present a big challenge to us as they are the current Six Nations champion and recently held the World Rugby No.1 ranking.

“We can see the strength across their squad.

“They have a very good defensive system and work rate so we know we will need to work hard to create scoring opportunities for ourselves.”

Just one change to the run on team that dominated Georgia 45 – 10 in Osaka last week, with Viliame Mata coming into number eight moving Peceli Yato to the bench.

The Flying Fijians face Wales in their final pool match at 9.45pm, Wednesday 9 October at Oita Stadium.
