The Fiji Football Association is happy with the level of competition sewn so far at the 2023 Digicel Fiji FACT.

Fiji FA president Rajesh Patel said the pool games stage saw some amazing games.

“All the games we saw so far have been very competitive. We have the best eight teams in the country taking part and it’s good to see them display some wonderful football, ” Patel said.

He added that day three would have many teams playing for a spot in the semi-finals.

“It (competition) has been really tight and I’m sure we will have to wait for the last few games on Sunday to decide who our semi-finalists are.

“The weather has been very favourable to the players and it has given them the opportunity to display good football.”
