With pool C of the Rugby World Cup wide open, the FIJI Water Flying Fijians will go back to the drawing board to access the different scenarios needed to progress to the quarter-finals.
The Simon Raiwalui-coached side beat Australia 22-15 earlier this week to keep their RWC campaign alive after a round 1 26-32 loss to Wales.
Australia, which beat Georgia 35-15 in round 1, faces Wales on Monday at 7am.
Wales leads the group after the win over Fiji and Portugal (28-8) on 10 points. Fiji is second with six points, tied with Australia who are behind on point differential.
Georgia and Portugal are yet to register any points.
Fiji kicking coach Seremai Bai says the team will need to relook at their pool with places for the top two qualifiers wide open.
“Definitely, that’s the reason the boys opted for a late penalty (against Australia) which didn’t go our way,” Bai said.
“We will have a team meeting soon and we will talk about the different scenarios we will come up against. We will make sure we take it game-by-game.”
