Fiji Airways Drua thumps Brisbane City in second NRC encounter

THE Fiji Airways Drua side displayed another superb performance to thump Brisbane City 66-5 in the second round of the NRC encounter at Lautoka’s Churchill Park this afternoon.

The Fijians were devastating scoring a massive of 10 tries to one to secure its second win in the competition.

Flyers Levani Kurumudu scored a hat trick of tries while halfback Frank Lomani scored a double, with fullback Apisalome Waqatabu, number 8 Eremasi Radrodro and centre Cyril Reece scoring a try each.

Playmaker Alivereti Veitokani who set up two tries converted two tries with the rest of the tries converted by Waqatabu.

The visitors managed to score a try in the last to winger Jaden Ngamanu while Drua skipper Mosese Voka and replacement lock Tevita Naqali scoring a try each later in the last segment of the game to win 66-5.
