THE ranking for the Vodafone Fiji football team has been improved in the latest Fédération Internationale de Football Association (FIFA) ranking released for this month.
Fiji had climbed four places up on the rankings which see the national team ranked 186 in the world.
Fiji played Vanuatu in a two-match international friendly last month. The Frank Farina-coached side drew their first match 1-all and lost their second 2-1 at Port Vila stadium.
New Zealand remained the top football country in the Pacific as the side was ranked 151 followed by Samoa, American Samoa and Cook Islands on 167.
Belgium was ranked number one in the world.
