FCCC determines new fuel and gas prices

People can expect decreases in fuel and gas prices come next month.
The Fijian Competition and Consumer Commission (FCCC) has released the new regulated prices of unleaded petrol, premix, kerosene, diesel and LPG products.
Here are the new prices that will come into effect from February 1, 2022:
- Motor spirit from $2.74 to $2.61 a litre – decrease of $0.12
- Premix from $2.34 to $2.22 a litre – decrease of $0.12 cents per litre
- Kerosene from $1.82 to $1.69 a litre – decrease of $0.13 cents a litre; and
- Diesel from $2.34 to $2.18 a litre, a decrease of $0.16 cents a litre.
LPG:
- 5kg cylinder from $17.34 to $16.87 – a decrease of $0.47 cents
- 12kg cylinder from $46.24 to $44.98 – decrease of $1.26
- Bulk Gas from $3.27 to $3.18 – decrease of $0.09 cents per kg; and
- Autogas from $2.19 to $2.13 – a decrease of $0.06 cents a litre.
