Father of infant remanded; case transferred to High Court

THE man who is alleged to have seriously injured his four-month-old daughter resulting in her death made his first appearance in Court today.

Tevita Veicavuyaki Kunawave who is charged with a count of murder appeared before Magistrate Waleen George at the Suva Magistrates Court.

The-26 year-old was remanded by Magistrate George and the matter has been High Court in Suva and will be called again on November 8.
