STYLE Fiji (SL) will debut its Christmas collection “Senikau” at Style Fiji 23 in December.
Creative director and designer, Samson Lee, said he was honoured to be asked to show again at the show where he first debuted his label.
“Style Fiji has established itself as an invitation-only event where Fiji’s best fashion labels show for a good cause, my brand aligns with their work in our community and I’m happy to be back,” said Lee.
The “Senikau” collection will feature vibrant floral prints on silk, along with his signature sequence pieces.
“This collection is festive, Christmas is just around the corner and this is something we can wear to our office parties or soqo.”
Lee also expressed that this fashion fundraiser for the Fiji Cancer Society is important to him because of his late sister Mariah Lee who passed away from cancer in 2010.
“I know what it’s like to lose a family member to cancer, so I’m passionate about supporting initiatives that help anyone battling cancer.”
The Style Fiji organising committee stated that the fashion event looks forward to showcasing Fiji’s best designers while also fundraising for a good cause.
“Our event is in its 11th year and we come together once a year to provide a platform for Fijian designers and to also have a fun night to dress up and do something worthwhile for our community”.
The event will be held on December 2 at the Sofitel Resort and Spa. To book tickets, email stylefiji2011@gmail. com.
